About Nathan Dingeldein

I have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner for over 25 years and a registered nurse for almost 30 years. I earned a master’s of science in nursing from New Mexico State University in 2000.  I have been board certified as an adult psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2001.

I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including community mental health, private practice and psychiatric emergency medicine.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and good friends.  I love gardening, music, art, college football and I am a big time foodie!

A special note of gratitude: I want to thank all current and former patients for the privilege of being your psychiatric provider over the last 25 years.  You invited me into your lives during challenging times and let me help you navigate hard choices and emotional pain.  You taught me to see the person behind the symptoms.  I have seen your humanity, your courageous spirit and your determined resilience.  Together, we found solutions, validation, dignity and joy!!
